Finally Got Some New Books!

I received some funds for Mother’s Day and bought a whole bunch of stuff, including some books for Peanut. I got him five books.  Two were early readers, a Madagascar book and a Finding Nemo book.  One book was a Little Golden Book of The Lion King, and the other two were Disney books about Tarzan and Toy Story.  He was with me when I bought them, and he really liked the selection.  The best thing is that the books only cost $1 to $1.98 each.  I love Half Price Books!  The books were all in very good condition; some even looked new!

I didn’t have time to go to the library this week, so I had to renew the books we had.   Luckily, the books we had were available for renewal.  Sometimes, a book will be on hold and we won’t be able to get the book again.  Now with the whole swine flu thing, I am apprehensive about getting more books from the library.  I will keep these until they are due, and then I will just stick with the books we already have here in the house.

I also bought him a Disney/Pixar drawing book and the book Old, New, Red, Blue! By Melissa Lagonegro.  It is a book about opposites using the movie Cars as examples.
